About the farm
Welcome to Benbullen Farms, established in 2017 we are family owned and operated, with our home farm located in picturesque town of Boisdale in Central Gippsland and traditional lands of the Gunai/Kurnai people.
We are dedicated to raising high-quality cattle that are both productive and environmentally sustainable. We specialise in breeding and finishing of Speckle Park cattle, a breed known for its superior meat quality, adaptability, and docile temperament.
Our farm is located just a stone's throw away from our hospo venue Maffco Brewery and Distillery and farm to fork restaurant TUCKA@Maffco. We are driven by our passion for the paddock-to-plate concept. This has led us to establish a commercial and stud herd of Speckle Park cattle and focus on sustainability and traceability.

Meet the farmer
Benbullen Farms began with Nicky’s lifelong passion for farming. After years in dairy and livestock, we turned our focus to our Boisdale property to build a beef enterprise grounded in quality, care and respect for the land.
Inspired by Speckle Park cattle for their calm temperament, efficiency and exceptional eating quality, we established both stud and commercial herds.
Having experienced drought and a changing climate, we committed to regenerative farming practices that improve soil health, protect waterways, increase biodiversity, reduce chemical use and restore pastures through careful stock rotation.
For us, regenerative agriculture is not a trend. It is our promise to produce better beef while protecting the land for future generations.
