Shipping Cost
⚠️ All meat packs are cryovaced for health and safety reasons. We do not send meat unpackaged. Bones are an exception and packaging is determined by the farm. Farmer Butcher uses trusted third-party couriers to ensure your meat packs arrive fresh and chilled.
From Farm to Your Door
Follow the journey of your order — from a roaming beast in the paddock to a perfectly packed box at your door.
Step 1: Farm Allocation
Your order is allocated to a healthy, roaming animal on the farm. This beast is carefully selected and prepped for shipment to the abattoir. Typically, this process takes 2–3 days.
Step 2: Skilled Processing & Dry Aging
Your order is handled by skilled butchers, hung for a minimum of 12 days to dry age. This ensures maximum tenderness and top-quality flavour before cutting and packing.
Step 3: Packing & Delivery
After cutting and packing to your preferences, your order is shipped directly via trusted cold-chain couriers. Fresh, premium meat arrives straight to your door.

Welcome to River Bend Meats, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hunter Valley — Lochinvar, NSW to be exact. Our story is refreshingly simple. When we first moved onto the land, we picked up a few “lawnmowers” to keep the grass under control. Turns out, those lawnmowers tasted pretty incredible. So we brought in a few more… and just like that, River Bend Meats was born. Our farm spans 150 acres and is built on sustainable, responsible farming practices. For us, it’s never been about being the biggest — it’s about doing things properly. We combine time-honoured farming traditions with modern, regenerative methods to care for our land, our animals, and the future of farming. We’re proud to be known for our high-quality beef. Raised with respect and intention, our cattle benefit from regenerative practices that result in meat that’s not only full of flavour, but also ethical and better for you.
